Dive Deck & Photography
Our spacious dive deck allows you to gear up in comfort. A roomy three-tier camera table and charging station are available for photographers. All divers have their own storage area for dive equipment and there are fresh water showers on the back platform.
Most dives are done from two zodiac tender boats with only a short ride to dive sites. Our dive teams will ensure you get the best from every dive.
Courses:
The Azores Liveaboard offer s a full range of PADI Programs. Popular specialties such as Nitorx, Underwater Photography & Naturalist can be easily completed around the dive schedule.
Nitrox, Tech and Re-breathers:
Nitrox is available on all charters. Technical diving and rebreather diving is possible, if pre-arranged.
Entertainment & Amenities:
Enjoy a wide selection of movies or games on our PS3 and flat screen TV or sit back with a book or magazine from our library. An assortment of board and cards games is also available. Each evening you will be treated to either one of Atlantis’s unique marine life presentations, a slide show or a presentation on your next destination.
Besides diving, you can improve your photography skills, snorkel, or take land excursions during your trip.
The Azores Liveaboard features a partially covered sun deck with chaise lounges, complete wet bar, hot tub, an assortment of sitting areas with tables for your relaxation between dives.
State Rooms:
Azores has seven deluxe staterooms with double and single berths (bunk-style), hair dryer, private head and shower. There is also one larger suite on the top deck with upgraded amenities.
Rooms are serviced daily.
Dining:
Atlantis’ boutique restaurants have been rated “world-class” by the Lonely Planet travel guide book. On the Azores, we proudly adhere to our principle of serving freshly prepared meals and snacks all day.
On our board chef will pamper you and comply with any special dietary restrictions you may have. Start the day with the smell of freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked breads. A blend of ripe seasonal fruit juices will prepare you for your first dive.
Meals are from hearty to light. “Mom’s soups”, homemade smoked bacon and ham, omelets from mild to spicy, small to giant beef burgers, fresh garden salads and muesli with yogurt and fruit… to name just a few.
The lunch selection varies between Mongolian woks, homemade pastas and freshly made panini to order. Themed evening meals reflect the fine dining you have come to expect from our land-based resort restaurants.
If you are still hungry between dive snacks include homemade cookies and cakes, fresh fruit and mouth watering ‘tidbits’.
Our complimentary open bar includes:
