Is there good macro diving in Dumaguete? Yes!
Dumaguete has some of the best scuba diving in the Philippines. We see many divers at Atlantis Dumaguete who travel not just for our resort experience and diving, but specifically to take advantage of the fantastic photo opportunities. The images they create are stunning.
Underwater video shooters are much more rare, and we were very excited to recently host Dustin and Tyra Adamson from OceanShutter. This duo has shot award-winning videos and photos, mesmerizing us with footage from some of the world’s best dive locations.
Dumaguete’s variety of macro and wide-angle diving helps create well-rounded underwater videos packed with marine life. The dive guides at Atlantis are always excited to help photo and video shooters find the subjects on their hit list, and judging by the clips we’re seeing from Ocean Shutter, they found some very cool critters!
