If you are an Open Water Diver the next step is Adventure Dives. Adventure dives introduce you to new and exciting areas of diving; they are ALL about being in the ocean (not the classroom or pool) and taking part in activities which interest. After 5 Adventure Dives (of which two have to be Deep dive and Navigation dive), you have earned your Advanced Open Water Diver.
If you are a relatively new diver then there is no doubt that taking adventure dives is a great way to try new diving activities while gaining experience under the supervision of an instructor. Group sizes are always kept small and we guarantee lots of personal attention; if you'd like to request one-on-one tuition there is a premium on any quoted price.
Divers who have gained some experience fun diving may have already tried more specialized types of diving, such as deep or night diving, and feel that adventure dives ‘don't offer them anything'. However, following a divemaster to 30m-100ft or on a night dive is one thing, but can you honestly say that you know how to plan and conduct these kinds of dives to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment? After an adventure dive the answer will be ‘yes'!
And don't forget that PADI Advanced Open Water is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course, essential training for all divers, as well as some specialty courses.

| Adventure Diver |
If you chose to complete only three Adventure Dives, instead of five, you will earn the certification of Adventure Diver. It’s a great way to start your path to become an Advanced Open Water Diver if you have very little time or wish to spend time doing something else on your holiday. The Adventure program includes the Deep Dive, which means that you will be comfortable going deeper than 18m/60ft from now on. You will also have the opportunity to pursue your Specialty Course training by taking the Deep or Wreck Specialty courses. |
